We are down at 9, Gst Road in Oorappakkam. It's a busy part of Kanchipuram with plenty of trucks and cars going by all the time. Our building is one of those industrial spots where there’s always something moving or some noise from the machines. We work on automotive parts and engineering stuff. It isn't a quiet office job; it’s more about getting the hands dirty and making sure the parts are right. Most of us have been working here a long time and we know the machines pretty well. The floor can get a bit cluttered when a big order comes in, but we manage to find our way around. People know us for being on the main road. The commute can be a bit of a pain with the traffic on Gst Road, but we’re used to it. We just show up, do the shifts, and make sure the technical things are handled. It’s a lot of metal and tools and coffee breaks in between. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations because we’re too busy with the actual work. It’s a practical place for people who like to build things. We just keep our heads down and get the tasks finished day by day. That’s pretty much the whole story of this place. We have been in this spot for years and don't plan on moving.
