Magick Tech Private Limited is out in the A-8 Industrial Complex in Maraimalai Nagar. This is in the Kancheepuram district, south of the main Chennai city. Being in an industrial complex means the surroundings are very different from a city office. There are factories and warehouses all around us. It can be quite loud with the sounds of machinery and trucks moving in and out all day long. Our space is basically a functional unit where we do our technical work. It’s not a place where you would find fancy furniture or art on the walls. It’s all about utility here. We’ve been in Maraimalai Nagar for a while now and we like the industrial feel of it. It reminds us that we are here to build and fix things. The pin code is 603209. We don't really have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stories about us. We are just technicians and engineers who spend our time looking at screens and hardware. The Magick in our name is just a bit of fun, because sometimes getting technology to work feels a bit like that. We work long hours, especially when there’s a big project, and we usually just grab food from the local canteens nearby. It is hard work, but it feels good to be part of this industrial area. We just keep doing what we do every day without much noise. That's us.
