Madras Music College Llp

Madipakkam is a good place for a music school like ours. We are located on the second floor of number five on Sivasubramanian Street in Ramalinga Nagar. You can usually hear a bit of music drifting down to the street before you even find the door. The stairs are a little narrow and can be a bit of a climb if you are carrying a heavy instrument like a cello. We have been in this spot for a long time and have seen many students grow up here. The rooms are simple with just enough space for a piano and a few chairs. It gets quite loud in the late afternoons when the school kids arrive for their lessons. We don't have any flashy signs or a big lobby. There is just a small area where parents can sit and wait while their children practice their scales. Sometimes the violins are a bit out of tune and the singing is loud, but that is just how a music college should be. We focus on the notes and the practice. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which makes the music stand out even more. We keep things very basic around here. There is no corporate office feel at all. It is just a place for people who want to learn how to play an instrument or sing. We do our work and go home when the last student leaves.
