We are located over at Door No. 206/2, on Plot No. 48 in Sri Shanmuga Nagar. This is in Mannivakkam, which is a bit further out from the main city center. It’s a growing area, so there’s always some construction noise in the distance. Our office is fairly basic. We use a couple of rooms in the building to manage all the trade and export activities. It’s not the kind of place with glass walls or designer furniture. We have simple desks and a few cabinets for all the files we have to keep. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don’t wear suits or anything like that; we just come in and get to work. Mannivakkam is a bit quieter than the heart of Chennai, which we appreciate. The commute isn't too bad if you time it right. We spend a lot of time coordinating with suppliers and checking on shipments. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, making sure the numbers match up and the dates are correct. Sometimes we have lunch together at the desks, just talking about whatever is going on in the news. It feels more like a small family than a company sometimes. We are just trying to run a decent business and stay on top of our daily chores without making a big fuss about it. The plot is easy to find once you get into Sri Shanmuga Nagar. We keep a few spare chairs for when visitors come by for a chat.
