Our office is over in Sembakkam, specifically at 106 Samraj Nagar 3rd Street. It’s more of a residential area than a big business district, which is actually quite nice because it stays a little quieter during the day. We are in the Chennai-Kancheepuram stretch. Getting here in the morning can be a bit of a crawl through traffic, but once you turn into Samraj Nagar, things calm down. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space where we keep our files and computers. We spend a lot of our time dealing with export and import details. There is always someone on the phone or typing away at a desk. We don’t have any of those modern lounge areas or fancy coffee machines you see on TV. We just have a kettle and some mugs in the corner. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks during our meetings, but we’ve all gotten used to it by now. It feels more like a real place than a corporate box. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we know how each other likes to work. The street outside is narrow, so parking is always a bit of a puzzle every morning. We just make it work. It’s a simple setup for a small team trying to stay on top of all the shipping schedules and paperwork that comes with this kind of business. The rain sometimes leaks a little near the back door, but we just put a bucket there.
