Know Teens Foundation

We are set up at Plot No. 15 in Jeeva Nagar, which is over in Neelamangalam, Guduvanchery. It’s in the Kancheepuram district. The area has changed a lot lately with more buildings going up, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. We have a simple setup here at the Know Teens Foundation. It’s just a house that we use for our work. It doesn't look like a corporate headquarters, because it isn't one. We have some basic furniture and a few computers that we use. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the construction nearby, but we just turn up the fan and keep going. We are just a few people who wanted to do something for the younger crowd in our neighborhood. We don't have any big slogans or glossy brochures to hand out. Most people find out about us just by walking past or hearing from a neighbor while they are at the shop. It’s a very local way of doing things. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons talking to whoever comes through the door. It isn't always smooth, and sometimes we run out of tea bags or the internet acts up when it rains. But that is just life. We are happy to be in Guduvanchery. It’s a growing place, and we are just trying to keep up with the changes while staying grounded in our little plot.
