We work out of Flat No 1312 in Tower B of Happiness Tower, which is part of the Pacifica Aurum complex in Padur. It’s quite a way up, so we spend a fair amount of time waiting for the elevators every morning. Being in Tower B gives us a bit of a view over the surrounding area towards Kancheepuram, though mostly we are just looking at our computer screens. The office for Kalexton Realty Private Limited is basically just a modified flat where we’ve set up our workstations and some chairs for visitors. It’s a bit different from a standard office building, but it feels more comfortable this way. Padur is a growing area, so there’s always some construction noise or new people moving into the other towers. We keep our files organized as best we can in the limited space we have. Sometimes the lobby gets a bit crowded with delivery drivers and residents, but that’s just life in a big complex like Pacifica Aurum. We aren't a big corporate firm with a fancy reception desk; usually, you just walk in and find one of us working. We mostly stick to our tasks and try to get home before the traffic on the Chennai-Kancheepuram road gets too bad. It’s a decent place to be based, even if the commute can be a bit of a headache during the rainy season. We just do our bit and keep things moving along.
