Iris Manufacturing Ltd.

Our place is located at 83 Sengundram Road. We’ve been set up here in the Singaperumal district for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a drive out, but it’s where we do all our manufacturing work. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a plain structure that fits what we need. Inside, there are machines running most of the day. It gets noisy, so we usually have to shout a bit to hear each other over the humming. Iris Manufacturing Ltd. has grown bit by bit over the years. We started with just a couple of guys and now there are more of us around. The yard outside gets muddy when it rains, which can be a pain for the trucks coming in. We spend a lot of time checking the parts and making sure everything is sitting where it should be. It’s hard work and the days can be long, especially when we have a lot to get through. We have a small break room where we sit for lunch and talk about the news or whatever else is happening. It’s a steady job. We don’t have any fancy offices or anything like that. Just a shop floor and some storage space in the back. Most of the folks working here live nearby, so we’ve known each other for years. It’s just a normal day at the factory for us.
