We are located over at the MMDA Industrial Complex in Maraimalainagar. It is building A-1-A, right in the middle of everything in Kancheepuram. Being in an industrial area means there is always noise and trucks moving about, but it works for what we do. Our team spends most of the day figuring out how to make small-scale farming work better for regular people. It isn't always easy, and we have had our share of mistakes along the way. Sometimes the equipment doesn't arrive on time, or a project takes twice as long as we thought it would. That’s just reality. We aren't sitting in some high-rise office in Chennai; we are right here on the ground. The sun gets pretty hot out this way, so we usually start early in the morning to beat the heat. Most of us have been doing this for a while, so we know the local soil and what usually grows well around here. If you come by, you might see us testing out new ways to set up a backyard plot or just drinking tea and talking about the next steps. We just want to help people grow a bit of their own food without making it overly complicated. It’s practical work, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We’ve been here a while now and plan to stay for the long haul.
