Our office is located at 329A/1 Grace Cottage, which is on New Colony 2nd Street. It’s a bit of an unusual name for a place that deals with dredging and construction, but it works for us. Dharsan Dredging Constructions Pvt. Ltd. handles the kind of work that involves heavy machinery and a lot of water. Most of our time isn't actually spent in the office; we are usually out at a site or checking on the equipment. But when we are here, we are mostly sorting through blueprints and contracts. Grace Cottage is a quiet spot compared to the noisy job sites we usually work at. The office has a few desks, some filing cabinets, and maybe a few muddy boots near the door. Dredging is tough work and it's often messy, so our paperwork sometimes has a few smudges on it. We aren't a big corporate firm with a glass building. We are a practical team that knows how to move earth and clear out waterways. Being on 2nd Street makes it easy enough for our crew to meet up before we head out for the day. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Most of our work comes from people who know what we can do with a crane or a pump. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep our machines in good working order.
