We have been here at No.29/5 on New Kanchipuram Road for a bit now. Cheyyarapr Chits Private Limited is just a place where folks from around the neighborhood come to put their money together. It isn’t anything fancy. People walk in, talk about their families, and handle their monthly payments. The office is easy to find if you are driving down the main road. Most of the people who come here have known us for years. We just keep the books straight and make sure everyone gets their turn when the auction happens. It can get a little crowded on the collection days, but we manage. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit old, but they do the job. We don’t really do much advertising. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or relatives who already have a chit here. It’s a simple way to save up for a wedding or maybe a new bike. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but inside we just focus on the paperwork. We keep everything local and straightforward. You won't find any big glossy posters here. Just us doing our daily work on New Kanchipuram Road. It’s a small operation, really. We open up in the morning and stay until the accounts are settled for the day. That’s pretty much how things go here at Cheyyarapr Chits. We are just local people working for the community.
