Apt Masala

Apt Masala is located at 35, Madurantakam, right on the Trunk Road. Being on such a major road means we see a lot of people passing through on their way to other places. Our building is a simple one, mostly just a large room where we do all the mixing and packing. It’s not a high-tech facility. We use old-school methods for a lot of our processes because that’s what we know how to do. The sound of the traffic outside is just part of our daily life now. Sometimes travelers stop by because they see our sign, and we end up chatting for a bit. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything fancy. The walls are a bit plain and the lighting is just some basic tubes, but it gets the job done. We spend our days weighing out spices and sealing them into packets. It’s repetitive work, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we enjoy. The air is always filled with the scent of spices, which can be quite strong if you aren't used to it. Most of the people working here have been with us for years. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making masalas for the kitchens around Madurantakam and beyond. It’s a honest day's work for everyone involved.
