Apple Of The Eye Foundation is located at No. 244 on Jeeva Street. That’s in the Kurinjima Nagar area, specifically West Gopalapuram in Sekkadu. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but it’s easy to find once you are in the neighborhood. We’ve been operating out of this building for a while now. It’s a simple structure, nothing fancy or modern. We have a small team here. Most of us grew up in this part of Sekkadu, so we know the area like the back of our hands. We spend our days managing the foundation’s affairs. It involves a lot of mundane tasks like answering letters, checking on projects, and keeping the books straight. We don't have a polished corporate image. If you come by, you might see us in casual clothes just trying to get through the day's work. The office can get a bit messy with all the supplies we keep for our local programs. We try to keep it tidy, but something always ends up out of place. We like being on Jeeva Street because it’s a quiet spot but still close enough to everything else. We aren't trying to change the whole world; we are just focused on doing what we can right here in our own backyard. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied. We don't have big speeches or missions. We just show up and do what needs doing.
