Ant Impex Llp is our business, and you can find us at New No. 4A on Dr. Radhakrishnan Street in Voc Nagar, Pammal. The address used to be Old No. 9, so people sometimes get a little lost looking for it. We are up on the first floor. It is a decent space, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb when you’re carrying a heavy stack of folders. Pammal is a bit quieter than the center of Chennai, which we appreciate. Our work is all about importing and exporting. We spend the bulk of our time coordinating shipments and talking to customs brokers. The office has a very lived-in feel to it. There are calendars on the wall and stacks of papers on every available surface. We don't have a professional cleaning crew coming in every night. We just tidy up ourselves. Most of the day is spent checking on where things are and making sure the paperwork is filed correctly. It’s a lot of coordination between different people. We don't have any big meetings or corporate events. Usually, we just sit with a cup of tea and go through the list of things to do. The street outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, but we don't mind it too much. It’s just a normal workplace for us, and we try to keep things as uncomplicated as we can.
