Amudha & Co Tambaram

If you find yourself on Venkatesan Street near the Tambaram Head Post Office, you’ll likely see Amudha & Co. We are located right at Number 1 Shanmugam Road. Being in Tambaram means we are in the middle of a lot of hustle and bustle. There are people walking by constantly and the sound of the trains isn't too far off. We’ve been here for a good while, serving the local crowd. Our shop isn't one of those modern malls with bright lights; it’s a traditional place where we know where everything is kept, even if it looks a bit crowded to an outsider. We spend our days talking to people who stop in for their daily needs. Some customers have been coming to us for decades, and now their children come here too. It’s a nice feeling to be part of the neighborhood like that. We don't spend money on big ads or billboards. We just open the shutters every morning and start the day. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when it’s quiet and watch the traffic go by on Shanmugam Road. It’s a simple way to run a business. We handle a bit of everything and try to keep things organized, though paperwork sometimes piles up on the corner of the desk. Tambaram is a lively place to work, and we plan on staying right here at our corner for as long as we can possibly manage.
