AKNITH CHITS PRIVATE LIMITED

AKNITH CHITS PRIVATE LIMITED is based at No.10, Abdul Kalam Street in Nagalkeni. That’s over in the Chrompet area of Chennai. If you know Nagalkeni, you know it’s a busy spot with lots of small shops and houses all packed together. Our office is right in the middle of it. It’s a small ground-floor space that makes it easy for the older members to stop by without having to climb any stairs. We have a big sign out front, but it’s a bit faded from the sun. Inside, the space is filled with the smell of old paper and maybe a bit of incense from the morning prayers. We spend most of our time at our desks, typing into the computer or writing in the journals. The street outside is always noisy with delivery vans and people going to the market. We get a lot of people from the local tanneries and small businesses who use our chits to save up for things. It’s a very practical arrangement. We don’t have a lot of extra space, so things can feel a bit cramped when it’s busy, but we make it work. It’s about being accessible to the people in Chrompet. We’ve been here long enough that we know the local shopkeepers and they know us. We just keep doing our work day in and day out.
