Swastika Autocolor

You can find us at Shop No. 1528 on CST Road in Chembur. We are right opposite Swastik Chambers, which is a big landmark around here, so most people don’t have trouble spotting us. CST Road is always packed with cars and the noise never really stops. We do autocolors, so the shop is usually full of paint cans, mixing machines, and those little color swatches that everyone gets confused by. It’s a messy business. There is usually a bit of overspray on the floor and the smell of thinners is pretty strong most days. We spend a lot of time trying to match colors for people who’ve had a scratch on their car or are looking to repaint an old vehicle. It’s not always easy because sunlight changes how paint looks, but we do what we can with what we have. The shop isn't very large, so things tend to get crowded when more than two customers come in at once. We’ve been in Chembur for a good while. Some of the guys working here have been mixing paint since they were teenagers. We don't have a website or fancy brochures. People just stop their cars out front, come in with a piece of a bumper or a code, and we get to work. It’s a bit chaotic but it’s our daily life here on the main road.
