Mukharji Clinic

Mukharji Clinic is located in the Old Bazar of Kasbathana, which is part of the Shahbad Tehsil in the Kasba Nonera area. This is a very traditional part of town where the market is the center of everything. Our clinic is right in the middle of all that market bustle. You can hear the vendors shouting and the sound of carts moving on the street throughout the day. It is a small, modest clinic that serves the local people who come into the bazar for their daily needs. We don't have any of the high-tech equipment you might find in a big city hospital, but we have what is necessary for a rural clinic. The space is quite cramped with just a small area for patients to sit and a cabin for the doctor. We see a lot of seasonal illnesses and minor injuries from the farm workers and traders nearby. The walls are a bit dusty because of the open market outside, but we try to keep the place as clean as we can. It’s a very straightforward operation. There is no receptionist; you just wait for your turn. The local people know us well and often stop by just to say hello even if they aren't sick. It’s a very different pace of life here compared to the city clinics. We are just a small part of the long history of this bazar and the people living around it.
