Mehta Clinic

The clinic is located on Civil Line Road in the Main Market of Deori. This is in the Teh-Shahbad area. Being in the Main Market means we are right in the thick of things. There are shops all around us and the road is usually full of people and vehicles. It’s a very central spot, which makes it easy for everyone in Deori to reach us. The building is a simple one, right on the street. We don't have a lot of space, but we use what we have to help the people who come in. Most of our patients are locals from Deori or from the nearby villages in Teh-Shahbad. They come for their regular checkups or when they are feeling under the weather. The noise from the market is always there in the background, but it’s just the sound of the town. We have a few benches for waiting and a small room where the examinations happen. The walls are just painted a plain color and we have some basic medical charts up. We don't do anything fancy here. It’s just about being there for the community when they need a clinic. We know most of the shopkeepers on Civil Line Road and often see them coming in too. It’s a very straightforward way of working. We open the doors in the morning and wait for the first patient to arrive from the market crowd. It’s a busy way to spend the day.
