Golden Glass

We are over on Enamavu Road, running our glass shop day in and day out. It is a simple place where we spend most of our time measuring and cutting sheets of glass for different people. The road outside can get pretty noisy with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the work at hand. Glass is a tricky thing to handle, so you have to be careful not to nick your fingers or break a whole sheet by accident. Scraps of glass and crates lean against the walls most of the time. It is not the cleanest place in town because of all the dust from the grinding and cutting, but we keep it functional. People come by with all sorts of requests, some big and some small, and we just do our best to get the sizes right. We have been on Enamavu Road for a bit now, and we have gotten to know the other shop owners nearby. It is just a regular way to make a living, working with our hands and making sure the glass is ready when someone comes to pick it up. There is no big sign or flashy front, just our work area and the materials we use every day. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the doors open and carry on until it is time to close up. We also spend time cleaning the edges of the cut pieces so they aren't too sharp for whoever takes them home.
