Our business, Bharath Surgical Dressing Co., is located at 542/15 Alangulam Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the trucks going by. We have a lot of storage space here because surgical dressings take up quite a bit of room. Most of our day involves packing boxes and checking the quality of the rolls and bandages. It is a very hands-on job. We don't have a fancy front office; it is mostly just the warehouse and a small area where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know how to get things done without much fuss. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to make sure the orders that leave Alangulam Road are correct. People usually come to us because they know we have been at this address for a long time. It’s a straightforward operation. We unload the raw materials, process what we need to, and then get the finished goods ready for dispatch. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. There’s always another shipment to prepare, and that’s just how we like it.
