We’re based out in Pratappur, which is in the Chatra district of Jharkhand. Our office is set up with Bindeshwar Yadav. It’s a bit different out here compared to the big city, but we like the pace. Most of what we do is engineering and construction work around the local area. We don’t have a big fancy office building; it’s more of a functional space where we keep our tools and paperwork. Some days we are driving out to remote sites to check on how the foundations are looking or to meet with the guys doing the heavy lifting. It’s a lot of coordination. Communication can be a bit tricky sometimes when we’re out in the field, but we make it work. We’ve been part of this community for a while and people know where to find us if they have a project in mind. We aren't big on talk; we’d rather just show you the work we’ve finished. The hours are long and the work is dusty, especially during the dry season. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s honest labor and it keeps us occupied. If you’re ever passing through Pratappur, you’ll likely see our trucks or us out near one of the job sites. That’s just the way it is for us.
