L. B. Educational Foundation

Lakhi Baghi Farenda is where our office is. It's a quiet little spot in the Koderma district, right near the post office. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite a while now. The space isn't much to look at, just a regular room with some old wooden desks and a few chairs. We spend most of our time dealing with school stuff and trying to help kids get their books. It gets really dusty here in the summer, and the power goes out more often than we'd like. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big corporate office. It's just a few of us who grew up around here. People from the village come by when they have questions about classes or need help with paperwork. We know most of the families by their first names. It feels more like a local meeting spot than a big foundation. We don't have a polished mission or anything like that. We just see what needs doing and try to get it done with whatever we have on hand. Sometimes we run out of tea or the printer jams, but we manage. If you're looking for us, just head toward the P.O. and ask someone. We're usually there from morning until late afternoon, even on Saturdays. It’s honest, simple work and we like being part of the community in this way. We don't make a big fuss about what we do, and we’re happy to help anyone who stops by the door.
