You can find us at House Number 1 in the Lamta area of Chatra. We are situated right beside the Uchh Vidyalaya, which is the local high school. The office is at Jyotim Prasad’s place. It’s a simple setup where we handle all our construction business. Chatra is a place where you have to know people to get things done, and we’ve lived here a long time. Our work usually involves small to medium building projects in the district. It’s a lot of manual labor and coordinating with local workers. The office is usually a bit messy with blueprints and receipts scattered around. Since we are next to the school, there’s always a bit of noise in the afternoon when classes let out. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just us, some local laborers, and a couple of motorbikes to get us to the sites. We spend a lot of time checking on supplies like sand and bricks. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone sitting on the porch or inside the main room. We don’t really do fancy meetings. Most of our decisions happen right on the site or over a quick chat at the office. The weather in Chatra can be tough, but we are used to it. We just keep our heads down and finish whatever project is in front of us. It’s practical work for practical people, and we like it that way.
