Chuneshwar Construction Private Limited is located right here in Kanodi village. Our place is House Number 2, which is very close to the Mango Garden if you are looking for us. Living in a village like this, everyone knows everyone, so we have to make sure our work is decent or we’ll never hear the end of it at the local market. We do a lot of small construction jobs around Kamta and the rest of Chatra. It’s mostly houses and small walls or fixing up old structures that have seen better days. The roads around here aren't always great for getting heavy equipment in, so we have to get creative sometimes. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning. We just work out of the house and spend our days at the sites. Some days are long, especially when we’re trying to finish a roof before the monsoon starts. It’s dirty work and our clothes are always covered in cement or mud, but that’s fine. We don’t promise things we can't do. If a job is too big for our small team, we say so. We just want to do honest work for our neighbors and keep the business going. It’s a simple life here in the village and we like it that way. We just focus on building things that last and not making too much of a fuss about it. We take pride in the results.
