Shubhpal Services is at No 73 on the Bypass Road in Bokaro Steel City. Being on the bypass means we see a lot of trucks and long-distance travelers going past all day. It’s a dusty road. You can see the smoke from the steel plants in the distance on most days. That’s just life in Bokaro. Our place is easy to find because we are right on the main stretch. We offer various services, mostly helping out with local needs. The office is just a simple room with a few chairs and a table. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the building directly. We have a small cooler that helps a bit. Most of our work comes from people stopping by or calling us after seeing the sign. We don't do much in the way of promotion. We just try to do a decent job so people come back. The bypass road has a lot of little shops like ours. It’s a community of people just trying to make a living. I usually open up early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. Sometimes we sit outside in the evening when it’s cooler and watch the traffic. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our life here in the steel city.
