Sree Electro Platers

Sree Electro Platers is located at Pathar Gatti, right behind the Syj Shopping Mall. It’s H No 22-7-121/1. If you know the Charminar area, you know how crowded it gets. We are tucked away in a spot near the Azeez Shopping Mall. The air here usually smells a bit like chemicals and metal. That's because of the electroplating work we do. We have vats and tanks set up in the back. It’s a messy process. We wear rubber boots and gloves most of the day. The shop isn't something you'd see in a magazine. It’s old, and the walls are stained from years of work. We’ve been here for a generation. My father worked here before me. We handle a lot of small parts that need a new finish. People bring us everything from car parts to old jewelry. We don't have a computer system to track things. We just write it down in a big book. Sometimes it gets really hot in the shop, especially during the summer. We just keep the fans going and keep working. The lanes outside are narrow, so getting deliveries in and out is always a bit of a struggle. But we like being in this part of the city. There’s a lot of history here. We just do our bit and keep the business going.
