You can find us at Shop No 9 in the Yousuf Complex. We are right there by Julukhana in the Khilwath area near Charminar. It is a crowded place, but that is just how it is around here in this part of the city. We sell all sorts of things for tailoring and zari work. If you need specific threads or beads for a dress, we probably have them sitting in a box somewhere on a shelf. The shop is not very big, so things are piled up quite a bit. It has been this way for years. We get a lot of people coming in who are making wedding outfits or doing embroidery at home. We just talk to them and find what they need from the back. It is dusty work sometimes with all the fabric and materials around. We do not have a website or anything modern like that. We just open the shop every morning and wait for the customers to arrive. My father started this business and now I spend my days here at the counter. It is a lot of work keeping track of all the small items like needles and different colors of thread. Sometimes the zari patterns go out of style and we have to get new stock in quickly. It is just a regular business in the heart of the old city. We see a lot of tourists and locals passing by every single day. It is loud and busy, but it is home for us at the shop.
