Om Furnitures Interiors

Our shop is on Gandhi Nagar Road, quite close to the railway station. You can usually hear the trains pulling in and out if you stand by the front door. Being near the station is handy for people coming into town. At Om Furnitures Interiors, the smell of wood and polish is everywhere. We spend most of our time out back where the cutting and assembly happens. It’s a dusty job, and we’re always covered in it by the end of the shift. We make all sorts of things for houses and offices. Sometimes a customer comes in with a rough drawing on a piece of scrap paper, and we try to figure out how to build it for them. It’s not like a big showroom where everything is perfect and lit up. We have pieces of wood leaning against the walls and sawdust on the floor. It’s a real workshop. We’ve been on Gandhi Nagar Road for a good while and we know the other shop owners around here. If we need a specific tool or some extra nails, we just pop next door. Some days the humidity makes the wood hard to work with, but we manage. We aren't interested in being a huge corporation. We just like making furniture that stays together and looks okay in someone's home. It’s honest work and keeps us busy. We mostly just focus on finishing the orders we have.
