Ice Axe Holiday

Ice Axe Holiday is tucked away at Plot No. 1 in Sector No. 2 over in Channi Himmat. It’s a small office where we spend our time looking at maps and talking on the phone. We aren't a big travel corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just us here trying to help people figure out where they want to go for their time off. The walls are covered in some old posters of mountains and beaches that have started to fade a bit. We don't have any polished brochures or high-tech displays. Usually, it's just a conversation over a desk about which roads are open or which hotels are actually decent. Channi Himmat is a nice enough place to work from. We get a fair amount of people walking in who just want to ask about prices for a weekend trip. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait a while to confirm a booking, which can be frustrating. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe trips. We just tell people what to expect, like if a road is bumpy or if a place gets too crowded in the summer. We’ve been doing this for a while and we’ve learned a lot of the little details that aren't in the books. It’s just a regular local business run by people who like to travel and talk about it. We stay late during the holiday seasons when everyone is trying to leave at once and the phones won't stop ringing.
