Uday Painting Works

Uday Painting Works is located along the Attibele Pune Nashik Highway. Being right on the highway means we get a lot of dust and noise from the trucks passing by all day and night. Our clothes usually have a few spots of paint on them, no matter how careful we try to be. We have ladders, buckets, and brushes leaning against the walls most of the time. It is a messy business, but that is just part of it. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or a nice rug. Most of the time we are out at a job site, working under the hot sun or trying to finish up before the rain starts. When we are back at our spot on the highway, we are usually mixing colors or cleaning our equipment for the next day. The smell of thinner and paint is always hanging in the air around us. We don't use any corporate talk about vision or missions. We just show up with our tools and get the walls covered like we said we would. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate or the paint takes too long to dry. We take our breaks sitting on plastic crates and watching the traffic go by on the road. It is a simple life of manual labor and we are fine with that. People around Attibele know where to find us if they need something painted.
