You can find us right by the Thivagange Circle in Nelamangala. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks and buses passing through all the time. We mostly deal with flat tires and changing out old ones that have gone bald. It’s a messy job and our hands are usually black from the rubber and grease but we don't mind. We have the basic tools to pull a tire off a rim and patch up a leak. A lot of drivers stop here because we are right on the way to the main highway. We see everything from small scooters to big lorries. Sometimes we have to work outside when it’s hot because the shop is a bit small for the bigger vehicles. It’s just honest work. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment but we know how to fix a puncture quickly. Praveen has been doing this for a long time and knows most of the regular drivers who pass by this circle. We keep a few spare tires around just in case someone needs a replacement in a hurry. It gets dusty here with all the traffic but we stay busy. There isn't any air conditioning or a nice waiting area. People usually just stand around and chat while we finish the work. We just try to get people back on the road so they aren't stuck for too long. We've been at this circle for many years now.
