Omthara Kala Kuteera at Nelamangala 4Th Block, 100 - Feet Road 42/2. Located at 42/2 on the 100 - Feet Road in Nelamangala 4Th Block, our place is a bit different from the usual buildings you see around here. It is a space dedicated to art and traditional culture, but it doesn't feel like a stuffy museum. We have a lot of stone and wood carvings that took years to get just right. The property is quite large, and there is always some corner that needs a bit of sweeping or a garden that needs tending. We aren't a big corporate entity. It is just a group of us who look after the place and welcome people when they walk through the gates. The 100 - Feet Road is quite busy, but once you step inside, it gets a lot quieter. We don't have guided tours with headsets or anything like that. We just let people wander around and look at the intricate details of the pillars and the ceilings. Some days it is very peaceful, and we just spend our time maintaining the structures. We have been here for a long time, and the locals know us as the quiet spot at the end of the block. It isn't a place for loud events or crowds. It is just for people who appreciate old-style craftsmanship and want to see something made by hand. We keep things simple and let the art speak for itself without us saying too much about it. It is just our way of keeping these traditions alive in Nelamangala.
