Our place is out at 35-B on the 132Ft Ring Road in Attibele. It’s a large enough spot to handle the heavy work we do with forgings. Being right on the Ring Road makes it easy for the trucks to get in and out, which is pretty much the most important thing for a business like ours. Inside the plant, it’s loud and it gets quite hot near the equipment. That’s just the nature of working with metal and heat all day long. We have a crew that’s been doing this for years. They don’t need much direction from the office; they just know how the hammer and the heat work. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls or anything. It’s a functional space meant for hard work. Some days are definitely longer than others, especially when we have a big batch that needs to be finished on a tight schedule. We take our breaks together out by the gate when the sun isn't too strong. There’s a lot of dust and noise around the facility, but nobody complains much about it. It’s a living. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there, just the one that does the job properly without cutting any corners. You can see the heat ripples coming off the floor sometimes in the late afternoons. It’s a real industrial atmosphere and we just keep our heads down and keep the production line moving along as best we can.
