Our place is located over at 49/50 in the KIADD 2nd Phase. If you know where the park is, we are just a short walk from there. Bloom Craft Apparels has been in this building for several years. It is an industrial area, so there is always a lot of movement with trucks and people coming and going. Inside, it is mostly the sound of machines and people talking over the noise. We have different sections for cutting and stitching, and it can get pretty warm during the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof. The floor gets dusty quickly no matter how many times we sweep it. We usually have lunch together near the back entrance where it is a bit cooler and more quiet. Some of our staff have been with us since we first opened these doors. It is not always smooth sailing here; sometimes a machine breaks down or a delivery is late because of the traffic on the main road. But we just deal with it as it comes. We handle a lot of fabric and thread every day. It’s hard work, and by the end of the shift, everyone is ready to head home and relax. We keep things moving because that is how it works in this line of business. The neighbors are mostly other small factories, so we all know each other and sometimes borrow tools. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get things out on time and keep the quality decent. It's nothing fancy, just a group of people working hard.
