Bhawarlal Coffee Trading Company

Down on M.A. Road, right near the Post Office in Mudigere, you will find Bhawarlal Coffee Trading Company. This part of the world is all about coffee, so it made sense for us to set up here. We spend our days dealing with beans and talking to the local growers. It is a lot of manual work, checking the quality and moving bags around. The smell of coffee is everywhere in the building, which is not a bad thing at all. We have been at this for a long time, following the seasons as they come. Our place is not anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular trading spot with a lot of activity. When it is harvest time, things get really hectic and we are here late most nights. During the off-season, we focus on the trading side and getting things shipped out. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It is a small town feel here in Mudigere, and being near the post office means we see everyone eventually. We do not use any high-tech systems, just basic scales and our own eyes to see what is good. It is honest work and it keeps us connected to the land around here. We do not plan on changing much, just staying here on M.A. Road and keeping the business going as usual. It is what we know how to do best.
