Sunshine Weigh Systems (P) Ltd

Our factory is at 496-A Tajpur Road, right off the Sarkhej-Bavia Road. Sunshine Weigh Systems (P) Ltd is basically a workshop where we put together industrial scales and weighing machines. It’s out a bit further from the main city, so it’s a lot of driving back and forth for us. The building is large enough for the assembly lines, but it gets pretty hot in the summer under the tin roof. We don’t have air conditioning in the main area, just some big fans that move the air around. We spend a lot of time calibrating things and making sure the sensors are reading right. It’s tedious work, but someone has to do it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny facade or a big logo. The yard is usually full of trucks coming to pick up scales for factories or warehouses. We eat lunch together in the small breakroom and talk about whatever is on the news. Sarkhej-Bavia Road is a long stretch, and we’ve seen it get busier every single year. We just keep our heads down and focus on the mechanics of the machines. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy. We take care of our own equipment and try to make sure everything leaves the factory in decent shape. It’s just a regular business with regular people working hard to make a living. We enjoy the quiet when the machines are finally turned off.
