Chabugi Foundation

You can find the Chabugi Foundation over in Jyotsnapur Village, which is part of the Diyun Circle in Changlang. We are based right there by the Sadhanarama Bana Vhara Foundation Mandir. Being near the temple means we see a lot of people coming and going. Most of us grew up around these parts of Arunachal Pradesh. We decided to get together and do something useful for the village. It isn't a big operation with a lot of staff. Mostly it’s just us and some volunteers from the neighborhood. We deal with everyday stuff that comes up in rural life. Sometimes it is about helping a family or just making sure things are running okay in the village. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big budget. We just use what we have available. People here know us by name, and that is how we like it. The work can be tiring, especially when the roads are muddy or the power goes out, but we don't mind. We just keep doing what we can for the people in Diyun. It's home to us, and we want to see it do well. We aren't looking for praise or anything, just trying to be good neighbors and stay involved with the community here. It takes a lot of patience to get things done, but we are used to the pace of life in Changlang. We just keep our heads down and do the work that is right in front of us.
