We are based out of Diyan Saifpur in Chandauli, over here at Ram Vilas Pandey’s place. Most people in this part of Uttar Pradesh know how it goes with farming, it's just what we do every day. Our group, Gulabbrahm Baba Javik Farmer Producer Company Limited, started because a few of us nearby decided it was better to work as one instead of all separate. It gets pretty busy around here when the season changes. We spend a lot of time out in the fields or sitting around discussing what needs to happen with the crops. It isn't always easy, sometimes the rain doesn't come when you want it to or the market is a bit strange, but we manage. We aren't some big city office with people in suits. We are just local farmers from Saifpur trying to get our work done right. Most mornings start early before the sun is even fully up. You can usually find someone over at the office or out back checking on things. We handle the planting and the harvesting and all the little jobs in between that people don't usually see. It's just honest work. We’ve been living in this area for a long time, so we know the soil and how things grow best around here.
