Chargaon is where we spend most of our time. It’s quiet here except for the sounds from the road. Behind the Balaji Temple is where we keep things running for Shridatt Tours & Travels. We handle travel stuff for people nearby who need to get around. Sometimes the roads are bumpy and the dust gets everywhere. We’ve been here in Barola for a bit now. It is not a big office with fancy lights or glass walls. Just a desk and some phones. We spend a lot of time checking tires and making sure the engines sound right. People come by after visiting the temple for a bit of prayer. We talk about where they want to go. It's usually local trips or rides to the bigger city nearby. My brother helps out with the booking too. We don't have a big marketing team. If someone needs a car or a bus, they just walk in. The morning starts early before the sun is too hot to work outside. We drink tea and look at the schedules for the day. It gets very dusty in the summer months. We try to keep the vehicles clean, but it is a constant battle. There is a small tea stall nearby where we go for our breaks. Life in Chargaon is simple. We just focus on getting people from one place to another without any fuss. It's honest work and we like being part of this village. Most of our customers are folks we've known for years. They know where to find us. Just walk past the temple gates and look for our sign.
