Shri Krishna Rice Mill

Shri Krishna Rice Mill is located out in Navegav Pandav Village. We are pretty close to the local post office here in the Nagbhid Tehsil area. Being in a village means things move at a bit of a different pace than the big cities. The mill is where we process the rice that comes in from the surrounding fields. It’s a dusty place, as you can imagine with all that grain moving around, and the machinery makes a fair amount of noise when it’s running. We’ve been part of this village for a long time. Farmers bring their harvest over, and we get to work. It’s physical labor, and our clothes usually end up covered in rice husks by the end of the shift. The building itself is sturdy but shows its age in places. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know where we are. The road to the mill can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but we manage. Most of the people working here are from the nearby houses. We focus on getting the rice cleaned and packed up properly. It’s a vital part of the local life here since almost everyone grows or eats rice. We just do our part in the middle of that process. It's not fancy, but it's what we know how to do.
