Shri Gurudev Model Rice Mill

Shri Gurudev Model Rice Mill is situated in the village of Nawaragon. To find us, you usually go through the post office at Neri in the Chimur taluka. It is deep in the rural area, so life moves at a different pace here compared to the big cities. Our mill is where the local farmers bring their paddy after the harvest. It is a busy time when that happens, and the whole place smells like fresh grain and diesel from the engines. The machinery is old but we keep it running with a bit of grease and patience. We don't have any fancy technology here, just the traditional ways of cleaning and husking the rice. The people working here are all from the nearby villages, so we all know each other's families. It gets very dusty inside the mill, and we often have to stop to clear out the husks. Sometimes the rain makes the roads to the village difficult for the carts and tractors, but we stay open as long as there is work to do. We don't bother with much advertising because everyone in Chimur knows where the mill is. It is just a practical place built for a specific job. We take pride in the fact that we help the local farmers get their crops ready for the market every single season. It is hard work but we enjoy it here.
