Murli Cement Industry

We are part of the Murli Cement Industry, located right at the Manikgarh Cement Factory site in Chandrapur. Our specific spot is E9/15. Being on the factory grounds means we are right in the middle of all the action. You can hear the machines and the heavy trucks moving in and out all day long. It is a very industrial setting. Maharashtra can get quite dusty, especially in this part of Chandrapur, but that is part of the job. We have our small office space where we handle the industry-side of things. We see a lot of workers and drivers coming through. Our desks are usually covered in paperwork and site reports. It is not a quiet place to work, but it is where the cement gets made and moved. We’ve been here for a long time. The factory is a big part of the local economy. We just focus on our specific section and make sure the daily targets are met. There is no polish here, just hard work and the smell of raw materials. We wear our boots and get on with it. Every day is pretty much the same routine of checking logs and making sure the shipments are ready to go out. Sometimes the heat from the machinery makes us sweat, but we just keep the fans going. It’s a busy life inside the factory gates and we are just one part of the whole operation here at E9/15.
