M/S Manikgarh Cement Works

This branch of the Manikgarh Cement Works is run out of the BCD Colony in Gadchandur. Rajesh Lande handles a lot of the coordination from Quarter Number D 4/13. It’s a typical residential setup turned into a functional workspace. Being located right in the heart of the district of Chandrapur, specifically in the 442908 pin code area, means we are very close to the actual operations. You can hear the sounds of the facility in the distance if the wind is blowing the right way. We don't do things in a flashy way. The walls are filled with charts and calendars to keep track of the output and the worker shifts. Dealing with cement means dealing with a lot of grit and heavy lifting, even on the administrative side of things. We see a lot of people coming in and out of the quarter throughout the day, mostly colleagues or contractors needing a signature. It is a very hands-on environment. You won't find any corporate buzzwords here, just people trying to make sure the plant keeps running and the cement gets shipped out on time. The routine is the same most days. We start early before it gets too hot, drink plenty of tea, and go through the logs. It is a simple life in an industrial town, and we’ve gotten used to the pace of it over the years. We just keep the files moving.
