We operate out of home number 1027 in the Bhivapur Ward of Chandrapur. It’s a local spot and we’ve been here for a good amount of time. Markhandeshwar Chit Fund Private Limited is what we call the business. It’s not a big corporate office with elevators. It’s more like a regular house that we’ve converted for our work. We handle chit funds for people in the area. Chandrapur can get incredibly hot, so we usually have the coolers running full blast during the day. The ward is a busy place with people going about their business. We see a lot of folks from the neighborhood coming in to make their monthly contributions. We keep all the ledgers and files organized on some metal racks. It’s not the most modern setup, but it works fine for us. We don't use much fancy language when we talk to people. It’s steady work and we enjoy being in the middle of the ward. The local market is just a short walk away, so there’s always a lot of energy nearby. We plan on staying in this house for a long time because it suits us just fine.
