Manikgarh Cement

This is the estate office for Manikgarh Cement up in Gadchandur. Ajit Singh is usually the one you’ll find here at Quarter No. C-1/1. We are located right in the colony area of the plant in Chandrapur district. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where the actual work happens. The office is part of the housing quarters, so it feels very lived-in and quiet. We manage the estate matters, like housing for the staff and the grounds around the cement works. It’s a lot of paperwork and walking around the site to check on things. The weather in Chandrapur is no joke; it gets very dusty and dry. We don't have a polished front desk or a lobby. It's just a functional room where we keep the records. Most of our day is spent talking to the workers or the people living in the colony. We aren't trying to sell anything from this office. We just make sure everything on the property is running okay. We’ve been here for a long time, and we know every corner of the estate. It’s a simple setup, just a table, some chairs, and a lot of files. If you need to find us, just ask anyone in the Manikgarh colony. Everyone knows where the estate manager’s place is. It's just how life is in a factory town. We don’t have much to do with the outside city, just our small community here.
