Gupta Rice Industries

Gupta Rice Industries is located right on the edge of the industrial area here in Village Kanpa. We are part of the Nagbhid tehsil. It gets pretty loud during the harvest season when all the trucks start coming in. The air usually smells like dry husks and grain when we are running the machines. We’ve been operating here for a while, and it's a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the heavy machinery. It isn't always easy, especially when the power goes out or a part breaks down, but we manage. My brothers and I handle most of the day-to-day stuff ourselves. We take the raw paddy and process it so it's ready for the market. It’s a messy job sometimes with all the dust flying around, but it is honest work. The local farmers know us well since they drop off their loads right at our gate. We don't have some big corporate story to tell. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and get to work. The village is small, so everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. We are just one of the local spots making sure the local crops get where they need to go. If you come by, you’ll likely see us covered in dust or checking the bags. That’s just how it is at a rice mill. We try to keep things moving as best as we can.
