We have been here at Majri Colliery for quite some time now. Our office is over at A30 in Shivjinagar, which is basically right in the middle of the Chandrapur district. If you know this part of Maharashtra, you know it gets incredibly hot and dusty, especially with all the mining work going on around us. People around here usually know us as the place to go when their batteries start acting up. We spend most of our mornings just checking the stock and making sure everything is where it should be. It is not a fancy place, just a regular office with a lot of heavy lifting. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been working around these parts for years. We don't really do much fancy talk. Most of the time, we are just busy with the paperwork or helping someone get their truck started. It is a quiet life in some ways, but there is always something to do. The Majri area has changed a bit over the years, but our spot remains pretty much the same. We have got the stacks of batteries lined up against the wall and the old desk that has been here since the beginning. It is just how we work. Nothing too complicated, just getting the job done every day like everyone else in Chandrapur.
