Durga Auto Mobile

If you head over toward Janta College in Chandrapur, you’ll find us at Durga Auto Mobile. We are right there near the college, so we see a lot of students and teachers passing by on their way to classes. The shop usually smells like engine oil and old tires, which is pretty normal for an auto place. We spend a lot of time with our hands dirty, trying to get a bike or a car back on the road. It’s not a quiet job. There is always the sound of a wrench hitting the floor or an engine revving up to see if a repair worked. We keep a stock of parts on the shelves, though it’s never quite organized as well as it could be. Sometimes we’re just doing a quick oil change, and other times we have to take an entire engine apart. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. People around Chandrapur know they can just drop by and ask us to take a look at a weird noise their vehicle is making. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning. Usually, people just hang out near the entrance or watch us work while they wait. It’s a local spot where people talk about their day while we tighten bolts. Being near the college means there’s always something going on outside. We’ve been here for a good while and plan on staying right here in the same spot for years to come.
