Dr Kirme

I’ve been here at Gandhi Chowk for quite a while now. Most people know us because we are right near the ICICI Bank, which is a busy spot. It’s just a small place where I handle the daily patients coming in. Usually, it gets a bit crowded in the evenings, but that is how things go around here. I didn't want a big fancy office in some far-off area. This spot works because everyone can find it easily. My desk is usually covered in papers and my stethoscope is always somewhere under a file. People walk in, we talk about what is bothering them, and I do what I can to help. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, especially being so close to the bank and the main square. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. It's just me and a couple of helpers keeping things running. Most of the folks who come here live in the neighborhood. They’ve been seeing me for years. It’s not a corporate hospital with shiny floors. It's just a regular room where we try to get people feeling better. I like being part of the local community. You get to know families and their stories over time. It makes the work feel a bit more personal than just looking at charts all day long. If you're looking for us, just head toward the bank and you'll see the sign. It is a simple place but we do our best for everyone who walks through the door.
